COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s soccer team has announced a series of clinics starting in January in Columbus. The clinics, hosted by the Buckeye coaching staff, start with an elite college ID clinic Jan. 6.
Ohio State will host elite college ID clinics for grades 8-12 Jan. 6, Jan. 26, Feb. 10, March 24 and March 31 along with next generation ID clinics for grades 7-8 Jan. 20 and Feb. 24. The clinics will utilize Ohio State’s top-of-the-line facilities. Instruction will be guided by Ohio State’s seasoned staff who are some of the best in the business and will be complemented by current Buckeye players and Ohio State strength and conditioning staff. The clinics will address both the technical and tactical areas of soccer as well as speed and agility training. These are the essential building blocks to give the motivated young athlete tools to be successful at the next level. A separate goalkeeping curriculum will be available to address the needs of young netminders.
