Field Hockey (12-7, 4-4 Big Ten) | Rutgers Recap
- The Buckeyes punched their ticket to the semifinals of the Big Ten field hockey tournament with a double overtime win over No. 10 Rutgers on Sunday.
- Esther Clotet scored the only goal of the game, and the only goal Ohio State would need with 1:31 left in the second overtime to secure the 1-0 win.
- Ohio State moves on to face No. 2 Maryland on Friday in the semifinal round.
Women’s Basketball | IUP Recap
- The women’s basketball team started gearing up for the regular season with a 72-50 exhibition win over IUP.
- Dorka Juhasz and Carly Santoro led the Buckeyes with 14 points each, while Janai Crooms and Aaliyah Patty scored 12 points each.
Women’s Ice Hockey (7-3-0, 3-1-0 WCHA) | St. Lawrence Recap
- The Buckeyes exploded for six goals to knock off No. 10 St. Lawrence 6-1 on Saturday.
- Charly Dahlquist finished with a team high four points from two goal and two assists.
Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving | Weekend Recap
- The No 10. men and No. 15 women’s Ohio State swimming & diving team finished the two-day meet versus Virginia Tech and Penn State with three dual wins, including a sweep of conference foe Penn State, on Saturday afternoon.
Assorted Good Stuff
- Devon Kerr of the women’s soccer team earned Big Ten Goaltender of the Year honors, while Izzy Rodriguez earned B1G First Team honors and Sarah Roberts earned B1G Second Team distinction.
- Ohio State student-athletes partnered with other students, alumni and OSU staff to pack over 2,000 meals for people in need in Athens county
- Alec Yoder of the men’s gymnastics team competed with Team USA at the World Championships over the weekend
