Henley Royal Regatta
The Buckeyes have progressed to the Henley Royal Regatta that has taken place annually since 1839. The varsity eight and coxless four will both be racing in the first round of their respective events on Friday (June 30).
The varsity eight is competing in the Remenham Challenge Cup against seven other fierce boats. The V8 will face off against the Leander Club on Friday with hopes of advancing.
The coxless four qualified for the Women’s Four bracket via a time trail last Friday (June 23). The V4 will be taking on a foursome from the New York Athletic Club on Friday as well.
The lineups for both boats will be the same as they were at the Henley Women’s Regatta (listed below). Race times are listed at the links below and fans will be able to watch all races live streamed.

Henley Women’s Regatta
Thirteen members of the Ohio State women’s rowing team traveled across the pond to compete at the historic Henley Women’s Regatta in England on Sunday (June 18). Racing in the elite eights were Anne Dietrich, Alice Riley, Morgan Hummel, Aina Cid I Centelles, Bridget Schodorf, Cassandra Johnson, Rachel Engel, Stephanie Williams and Cassidy Jenney (coxswain). The coxless four boat was rowed by Maddie Perrett, Abby Ernst, Annie Jachthuber and Allyson Baker.

The varsity eight came away with gold to capture the Ron Need Challenge Cup in the elite division while setting a course record.

The varsity four took a loss in a hard fought race in the elite division of the fours.
