With only 16 days left until the end of the regular season Mike Conley and the Memphis Grizzles look to lock in their spot in the playoffs currently sitting at the seventh seed 1.5 games behind the Thunder for the sixth seed. Meanwhile, Evan Turner and the Portland Trailblazers are looking to continue their hot play and secure the eighth spot in the Western Conference as the season winds down.

Buckeye fans have the opportunity to watch D’Angelo Russell on Tuesday night when the Lakers take on the Wizards (10:30 p.m. ET / NBA TV). Evan Turner and the Blazers play the Rockets on Thursday night (10:30 p.m. ET / TNT).

Mike Conley Averaging 20.1 points, 6.3 assists, and 3.6 rebounds on the year. Conley outshined Steph Curry in a Sunday night showdown putting up 29 points and six assists while going 4-6 from downtown in the Grizzles’ 94-106 loss to the Warriors.

Kosta Koufos Koufos, in his ninth season as a pro, is averaging 6.6 points and 5.7 rebounds on the season. The veteran Koufos was given rest days on two of the Kings’ three games on the week. Koufos did score two points while adding two rebounds, one assist and a block in his 14 minutes off the bench Friday night. |

D’Angelo Russell Russell is averaging 15.5 points, 4.7 assists and 3.5 rebounds in his sophomore season. Russell scored 22 points, adding two assists and a rebound as the Lakers’ fell 97-81 to Damian Lillard and the Trailblazers Sunday night.

Jared Sullinger Sullinger was waived by the Phoenix Suns Friday, one day after being acquired in a trade from the Toronto Raptors before the trade deadline. Sullinger is eligible to participate in the playoffs if signed this season. |

Evan Turner Averaging 9.2 points, 3.2 assists, and 3.8 rebounds on the season. This was Turner’s first full week of play after returning from a broken hand last Saturday. Turner scored 10 points, adding six rebounds, an assist and a steal in the Trailblazers’ 110-95 triumph over the Knicks Thursday night.
