Postgame Quotes
Steve Rohlik, Ohio State head coach
On the team’s mindset going forward
“We just want to get back on the ice. We have to get back after it next weekend after a great week of practice. Our destiny is still in our hands and we just have to go out and keep winning hockey games. As hard as it is we have to put this one behind us and look forward to Michigan State next weekend.”
On Ohio State’s turnovers
“I don’t think it was anything but our guys making a couple of bad mistakes and you can’t do that this time of year. We had some bad turnovers. Mistakes happen in hockey games, these guys are human, but we just have to limit those mistakes.”
Nick Schilkey, Ohio State senior forward
On what went wrong offensively in the game
“I thought the first period was a little sloppy. We have to score some five-on-five goals. We have to be better offensively five-on-five and that was evident tonight.”
