Anaheim, Calif. – This past weekend, 13 Buckeyes traveled to Anaheim, Calif. for the Division I October NAC. At the conclusion of the four-day event, three represented Ohio State in the top-20 of their respective weapon category.
Lewis Weiss recorded the highest Buckeye finish at the event finishing tied for third in epee competition. falling in the semi-final round 15-7. The senior went 5-1 in pool play and finished the competition 8-2. Fellow Buckeye epeeist Marc-Antoine Blais Belanger followed in ninth.
Representing the women’s team was Sarah Merza who finished tied for 18th in sabre competition. She went undefeated in pool play but fell in the table of 32.
