Big Ten Champs Seeded Third for NCAA Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The third-ranked Ohio State men’s gymnastics team, fresh off its first-place finish at the Big Ten championships, has been seeded third for the 2016 NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Championships next Friday and Saturday, April 15-16 at St. John Arena.
Ohio State will begin its NCAA-championship weekend Friday at 7 p.m. as it faces No. 2 Stanford, No. 6 Illinois, No. 7 Iowa, No. 10 Air Force and No. 11 Michigan in the second of two qualifying sessions for the NCAA Team Finals on Saturday, April 16. The Top-3 scoring teams in the session will advance to compete the following day for the national title.
No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 Cal, No. 5 Minnesota, No. 8 Penn State, No. 9 Nebraska and No. 12 Navy are set to compete in the first qualifying session at 1 p.m. ET, with the Top-3 teams also advancing to the NCAA team final.
