Morgan Boneberg is one of the key members of the defending National Champion Synchronized Swimming team. The junior from Clayton, Calif., is a two-time All-American in the pool and an Academic All-American in the classroom. She and the Buckeyes will look to defend their U.S. Collegiate National Title this weekend.
Student Life
- What is the best time of year on campus? The best time of year on campus is definitely the spring once it starts to get warm outside again.
- What is your preferred mode of transportation to class? Driving.
- What has been your favorite or most interesting class at OSU? The most interesting class I have taken at OSU was Criticizing Television.
- If you had to give an incoming student advice, what would it be? Enjoy college while you can because it goes by quickly!

- What social media do you prefer? Instagram is my preferred social media.
- Which do you watch more: Netflix or TV? We don’t have cable so we watch Netflix in our house!
- Would you rather read the book or watch the movie? I love reading so I would rather read a book.
- What song can you not help but sing-a-long to? Anything by DJ Detweiler.
- What was the last movie that you saw in theaters? How to be Single.
Sports
- When is your favorite time of your sport’s season? My favorite time of the season is Collegiate Nationals when I get to see my former teammates.
- Do you have any pre-game/match superstitions or rituals? No.
- What is your favorite part about your sport? My favorite part about my sport is my teammates.
- What is your favorite athletic memory? Winning Collegiate Nationals last year.
Food
- Where is your favorite place to eat at in Columbus? My favorite place to eat in Columbus is Katalina’s.
- What is the best meal you have ever eaten, and where did you get it from/who made it? The best meal I have ever eaten is taco dip made by my teammate and me.
- Do you have a sweet tooth and if you do, what is your favorite treat? Occasionally I have a sweet tooth and when I do I always get a chocolate milkshake.

- When you are not at practice, what could someone find you doing? Sleeping.
- Do you have a hidden talent? No.
- If you could play another sport other than yours, what would it be? Diving.
- If you won the lottery, what would you do? Buy a Golden Retriever puppy!
- What do you most look forward to doing during the summer? Spending time with friends.
- If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be? Flying.

- What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? It’s not about what happens it’s about what you do next.

- What is your favorite part about being a Buckeye? Being part of the tradition at Ohio State.
