Ohio State Earns 194.675 at No. 9 Boise State – Ohio State Buckeyes

BOISE, Idaho – The Ohio State women’s gymnastics team dropped a 196.300-194.675 decision at No. 9 Boise State Friday evening at Taco Bell Arena.
Ohio State opened the meet with a 48.675 on uneven bars, paced by a team-high 9.850 from Kaitlyn Hofland.
The Buckeyes then moved to vault and won the event with a 48.950. Taylor Harrison won the event with a 9.850 while Hofland tied for second at 9.825.
In the third rotation, Ohio State posted a 48.450 on floor exercise. Alexis Mattern tied for third and evened her season-best 9.900 on the event.
The Buckeyes then close the meet with a 48.600 on balance beam. Mattern again led the team and tied for third with a 9.800.
Harrison won the all-around title with a 39.175.
The Buckeyes host Eastern Michigan and Pittsburgh in a tri-meet on Senior Day at 4 p.m. Feb. 27.
