Quoting Buckeye head coach Steve Rohlik
“Anytime you come down here you’re going to be in for a game; they play hard, they play fast. At times they had good chances, at times we had a few chances. Their goalie made some great saves, our goalie made some great saves. I think the game was exactly how it should have ended up. To walk out of here having some success – it’s a good night.”
Quoting Buckeye senior captain Nick Schilkey
“I don’t think we played our best. Tomkins bailed us out a few times back there and played a great game. But, we battled and killed some big penalties off and at the end of the day we tied, but it feels good to get a win down here.”
