The No. 1 ranked Buckeyes welcome the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors into Ohio Stadium for the first time Saturday (3:30 p.m./BTN). As usual, fans can expect a day full of festivities at the home opener for Ohio State’s 126th season of football.
Each Friday prior to a home game, we at OhioStateBuckeyes.com want to offer you a gameday primer so you know what to look for upon entering The Shoe.
What’s in-store tomorrow:
- Alumni Band day performances prior to the game and at halftime
- The alumni cheerleaders also will be filling the sidelines adding to the atmosphere Saturday
- Welcome back the 1970 Big Ten and Football Writer’s National Championship football team
- Honoring the 1966 National Champion baseball Buckeyes
- OSU faculty and staff recognitions
- Look for another fun student contest after Hang On Sloopy at the end of the third quarter
Also, here are a couple hints to some additional in-game features (we can’t just give away all the details):
- Fans can expect a recognition of a current resident of O-H-L-A
- AND get ready to put your hands together for a special unveiling near the north end of The Shoe…
Don’t Foreget Pregame
- Don’t forget to visit FanFest on the south side of St. John Arena
- And as always, OSUMB Skull Seassion begins two hours prior to kickoff inside SJA.
