GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 41 Ohio State University women’s golf team was the biggest mover on Day Two of the SunTrust Gator Invitational, jumping up five slots to move into third place in the team standings. The Buckeye ascension came via a tournament-best 295, the top round of the day and tied with Arizona’s 295 opening score for lowest thus far in the event.
Ohio State will be paired with No. 9 Arizona and No. 32 Florida for the final round on Sunday. The trio is set to tee off at 9:15 a.m. ET off Hole #1.
Jan Chanpalangsri sits in sixth place individually and trails the leader (Krstyal Quihuis; Arizona) by just four shots entering the final 18 holes. The senior co-captain followed up an opening round 75 with a 70 the second time around. Katja Pogacar has been a top-10 performer through a pair of rounds as well, carding scores of 78-71 (+9) to seize a share of ninth place.
