No. 23 Ohio State Earns a 194.925 in Dual Meet Against No. 15 Boise State – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 23 Ohio State women’s gymnastics team fell to No. 15 Boise State, 196.025-194.925, Friday night at St. John Arena.
The Buckeyes started the meet on vault, earning a 48.925. Tenille Funches and Sarah Grady each paced the Buckeyes with a 9.825.
Ohio State moved to uneven bars in the second rotation, tallying a 48.625, led by Rachel Abrams’ team-best 9.800.
At the midway point, the Broncos held a 98.275-97.500 lead.
In the third rotation, Ohio State earned a 48.300 on balance beam. Michelle Burns posted a team-best and career-high 9.800 to tie for second on the event.
The Buckeyes concluded the meet with a 49.075 on floor exercise. Alexis Mattern finished second with a 9.875 while Taylor Harrison tied for third with a 9.850.
Funches finished second in the all-around with a 39.075.
The Buckeyes host Southeast Missouri State at 4 p.m. Feb. 28.
