COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Buckeyes showed Tuesday night that they’re not opposed to spreading the wealth.
In its 82-55 win against the Grambling State Tigers, Ohio State (2-0) saw three players score in double figures: Keita Bates-Diop, Marc Loving and Kam Williams.
Williams led the way for the Buckeyes with 22 points off the bench on 9 for 12 shooting and a career-high five rebounds. Bates-Diop and Loving each had 14 points. The 14 points tied a career high for Bates-Diop. The Buckeyes scored 40 of their 82 points off the bench.
The Buckeyes outshot the Tigers 59 percent to 37 percent, shooting 65 percent in the second half. While freshman guard JaQuan Lyle didn’t partake in the Buckeyes’ shooting frenzy, he did tally a career-high seven assists.
Ohio State hosts Texas-Arlington Friday night looking to extend its streak of 61-consecutive wins against unranked non-conference opponents at home.
