ESPN College GameDay Ohio State Student Organizations Social Media Challenge – Ohio State Buckeyes

ESPN’s College GameDay is coming to Columbus for Ohio State’s big game against Michigan State Saturday. We want to give all the student organizations and fraternities/sororities on campus a chance to win 10 back stage VIP guest passes to our show Saturday morning. We’d like to have a social media contest among the student groups at Ohio State and the winner of the contest will get 10 backstage passes to College GameDay AND a picture on set with the announcers following the show.
The competition will be as follows: Each student organization should post one copy of the attached flyer and include a hashtag with their organization name on it, as well as include #GetUp4GameDay and @collegegameday on their social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). Each group should only make ONE post (per outlet) and have everyone share/retweet that original post (this way we can track the posts and make sure they get credit for each share). The contest will run the rest of the week and conclude Friday evening. The group/organization with the most shares/retweets wins. We will contact the winning organization and coordinate the passes and picture.
Below is a set of directions you should follow to ensure you enter the competition correctly:
- Post a copy of the attached flyer on your social media outlets (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)
- Use a hashtag of your group/organization (ex. #OSUDeltaGamma, #OhioStateRobotics #OhioStateSoccer, etc.)
- Use the hashtag #GetUp4GameDay
- On Twitter & Instagram, tag @collegegameday
- Get as many people as you can to:
- Share your post on Facebook
- Retweet your tweet on Twitter
- Get the most shares/retweets through Friday evening
- We will contact the winning organization Friday night
- Come to College GameDay Saturday morning & then cheer on Ohio State Saturday afternoon!
