COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State Women’s Volleyball cracked the Top-10 of both the AVCA Coaches Poll this week and the first official release of the NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI). The Buckeyes are slotted No. 8 in the RPI and ninth in the AVCA Coaches Poll.
As the ninth-ranked team in the country, Ohio State has earned its highest AVCA ranking since last cracking the top-10 back in 2004 and finishing the season slotted No. 6 in the final poll.
The Buckeyes are 5-0 this season when facing a top-20 foe and more marquee match-ups are destined to keep coming throughout the Big Ten season as eight conference schools are present in the AVCA Top-25. The RPI rankings are riddled with B1G schools as well with four inside the Top-10 and seven in the RPI Top-25.
