WILMINGTON, N.C. – Jaclyn Lee and Katja Pogacar both carded opening rounds of 73 (+1) at the 14th annual Landfall Tradition. The team-best score earns both Buckeyes a share of 21st place on the individual leaderboard with 36 holes to play. The 31st-ranked Buckeyes are among a three-way tie for 12th in the Landfall Tradition team standings.
After all 96 players turned in their scorecards, Lee and Pogacar came away just two strokes outside the top-10. Notre Dame’s Isabella DiLisio leads the field at 5-under (67). The Buckeyes started off on Hole #10 and Lee caught fire on the Front 9 (Holes #1-9). The freshman from Alberta buried three birdies over a six-hole stretch and shot 1-under during the final nine holes. Pogacar posted a less dramatic scoring line with 15 pars on the day (third most in the tournament). Her bogies came on Hole #11 and #2 before a birdie on Hole #6 pulled her back to 1-over.

Following 5-over tallies through nine holes, both Buckeyes made considerable improvements after ‘the turn.’ Aguillon was 1-over while Porvasnik finished 2-over the rest of the way.
