GAME/SERIES
• The game marked the first all-time meeting between Ohio State and Sacred Heart.

D’ANGELO RUSSELL
• Russell led the Buckeyes with a career-high 32 points in 25 minutes. He is second on Ohio State’s freshman single game records for total points in a game behind Jared Sullinger who scored 40 points vs. IUPUI Dec. 19, 2010.
• Russell also added nine rebounds, five assists and one steal vs. the Pioneers.
JAE’SEAN TATE
• Tate recorded a career high 12 points vs. Sacred Heart, going 5-7 from the floor.
• Tate also collected five rebounds, two blocks and two steals.
Trey McDonald
• McDonald posted a career high 14 rebounds vs. the Pioneers. McDonald is the first Buckeye to collected 10+ rebounds since LaQuinton Ross (13) vs. Nebraska on March 14, 2014.
• McDonald added eight points.
Sam Thompson
• Thompson notched 12 points, going six for eight from the floor. He has scored in double digits all three games this season.
Marc Loving
• Loving totaled 10 points vs. the Pioneers. He has scored in double digits all three games this season.
Keita Bates-Diop
• Bates-Diop posted a career high 11 points.
Anthony Lee
• Lee recorded his first career start for the Buckeyes. Lee started 73 career games at Temple before transferring this season.
