No. 19 Ohio State Tied for First After Round One of Big Ten Championships – Ohio State Buckeyes

Kicking off the postseason at the Big Ten Championships, the No. 19 Ohio State women’s golf team is currently tied for first after round one. Firing a team score of 298, the Buckeyes are tied with Michigan State after 18 holes at the par 72, 6,156-yard Donald Ross Golf Course in French Lick, Ind.
Leading Ohio State is freshman Claudia Lim. Lim, from Bella Vista, Australia, is tied for third after a round of 73 that included three-consecutive birdies on hole Nos. 6, 7 and 8.
Tied for sixth after scores of 74 are juniors Amy Meier and Rachel Rohanna. Both Buckeyes tallied two birdies apiece en route to their top 10 placements.
With a round of 77, junior Susana Benavides is currently tied for 19th.
Carding opening day scores of 78, senior Vicky Villanueva and freshman Jan Chanpalangsri round out the Buckeye lineup and are tied for 25th.?
Round two of the three-day, 54-hole event will begin tomorrow with tee times starting at 9 a.m. (ET).
