BTN’s Live Coverage of Spring Football Games Continues Saturday
BTN’s live coverage of each school’s spring football game continues with the three games scheduled for this Saturday.
BTN will televise the Ohio State spring football game LIVE at 1:30 PM ET on Saturday. It will also stream live on BTN2Go. Tom Hart and Derek Rackley will call the game and Lisa Byington will report from the sideline. BTN.com senior writer Tom Dienhart will also be on hand to provide analysis on-air and on Twitter (@BTNTomDienhart) throughout the game. Additionally, BTN will stream both the Minnesota and Penn State spring games live at noon and 2 PM ET, respectively, on BTN2Go and the Big Ten Digital Network.
Saturday night, BTN will have highlights and analysis from all three of the day’s Big Ten spring games at 7 PM ET on the B1G Tonight: Spring Football Edition with Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith. BTN’s spring football coverage also includes the Big Ten Football Report every Tuesday night. BTN will offer a live television or internet broadcast for every Big Ten spring football game or final practice. ‘Diamond Report’ Follows Softball Tripleheader on Sunday
Another edition of the Diamond Report follows Sunday’s third softball game, including highlights and analysis of the day’s action from Mike Hall, Cal Eldred and Tammy Williams.
BTN will televise three conference softball matchups beginning at noon ET with Iowa visiting Michigan State, followed by a doubleheader between Northwestern and Indiana at 2 PM ET.
Iowa enters the weekend’s three-game series against Michigan State with a 7-5 conference record, and one game behind Wisconsin and Nebraska for third place in the Big Ten. The Spartans are still looking for their first conference win.
The afternoon doubleheader between Northwestern and Indiana carries significant weight in the standings, as they enter the weekend with the same 5-7 conference record. Both teams look to rebound after losing their respective series’ last weekend 2-1.
BTN to Televise Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Saturday
BTN will televise two lacrosse games on Saturday, including one men’s game and one women’s game. At 11 AM ET, the Buckeyes’ men’s lacrosse team will host Air Force. Ohio State has won two in a row, including a 12-9 win at Michigan on Saturday.
After two down-to-the-wire wins over ranked opponents last weekend, Northwestern squares off against No. 5 Florida at 5 PM ET in Evanston.
Northwestern remained the unanimous No. 1-ranked squad in this week’s IWLCA poll for the fifth straight week. The Wildcats are the lone unbeaten team remaining in Division I women’s lacrosse.
