‘Journey’ one-hour Season Finale Airs at 8 PM ET Tonight

This week on a special one-hour season finale of The Journey: Big Ten Basketball 2012, experience senior day at Michigan State with Draymond Green and Delvon Roe; the Michigan State-Ohio State thriller from the final Sunday of regular season play; the emotional reunion of Illinois sophomore center Meyers Leonard and his brother Bailey, a member of the United State Marine Corps who recently returned from active duty; and the most extensive behind-the-scenes coverage of the Big Ten Tournament, from the teams’ arrival in Indianapolis through the final buzzer of Michigan State’s victory in the championship game. Last Sunday’s episode of The Journey: Big Ten Basketball 2012 was BTN’s highest-rated original program, according to Nielsen metered market data. The Emmy-nominated series following the Purdue-Indiana men’s basketball game earned a program average household rating of 1.16 across in the network’s eight metered markets.
Also on Wednesday, a replay of the final game of the regular season between Ohio State and Michigan State will air at 6 PM ET.
BTN’s Tournament Coverage
to Bookend B1G Games
With a record 16 men’s and women’s basketball teams competing in post-season play, BTN will have full coverage, with nightly episodes of Big Ten Basketball and Beyond: Tournament Edition, presented by 5-Hour Energy, as well as postgame press conferences.
Six men’s and seven women’s teams are in the NCAA Tournament, while three men’s teams are competing in the NIT.
Dave Revsine, Rick Pizzo and Mike Hall will alternate as hosts and be joined by analysts Jim Jackson, Gary Williams, Stephanie White, Keno Davis, Shon Morris, Tim Doyle and Mike DeCourcy on nightly episodes of Big Ten Basketball and Beyond: Tournament Edition. On most nights with tournament competition, BTN will air two shows, both before the first tip and immediately following the evening’s last game.
BTN also will have reporters on the six sites of the men’s NCAA Tournament following each team’s progress throughout the tournament, and will conduct one-on-one interviews with players and coaches.
Additionally, postgame press conferences will be televised live on BTN and BTN2Go throughout the tournament. When two Big Ten teams play at the same time, BTN will air the postgame press conference of the game ending first, with the second following. For example, on Friday, March 16, Michigan and Ohio University tip off at 7:20 PM ET, while Purdue and St. Mary’s tip at 7:27 PM ET. The two press conferences will air back-to-back at 9:30 and 10:30 PM ET.

Network to Air Women’s Gymnastics Friday and Saturday
BTN will air the Michigan State at Michigan Women’s Gymnastics meet live at 7 PM ET on Friday from Ann Arbor, Mich. Michigan enters Friday ranked No. 21, and will be looking to bounce back after a loss at the hands of Georgia last week. The Spartans remain on the outside looking in, but have won four straight. This will be the last meet for both squads before the Big Ten Championship on March 24.
At noon ET on Saturday, BTN will televise Friday night’s Iowa State at No. 6 Nebraska meet. It is senior night for the Huskers, who have won three of their last four, including last week’s win at No. 7 Utah.
