The Ohio State women’s gymnastics team travels to Minnesota for its first meet of the season and is today’s #FF: OhioState_WGYM
The Buckeyes, under head coach Carey Fagan, finished the 2011 season with a third-place finish at regionals and a No. 16 national ranking. Led by senior captains Nicole Krauter and Taylor Jones, Ohio State was picked to finish fourth in the Big Ten Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
The squad returns eight letterwinners this year, including 2011 Big Ten Freshman of the Year Sarah Miller. Junior Colleen Dean and Miller were both named Gymnasts to Watch by the conference as each earned All-Big Ten First Team honors last season.
Ohio State faces the Golden Gophers at 7 p.m. ET Saturday at the Sports Pavilion in Minneapolis.
