Buckeyes Move to No. 2 in GymInfo National Rankings – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s gymnastics team garnered the No. 2 spot in the GymInfo national rankings after placing first at the Windy City Invitational in Chicago Jan. 15. The Buckeyes climbed from No. 7 after claiming the second-highest team total in the country with a 344.500 in their regular season opener.
The Buckeyes lead the nation in two of six events. Team tops the rankings on pommel horse (56.900) and vault (58.600) after the first weekend of competition.
Six of the seven Big Ten teams are currently ranked in the Top 10, including No. 1 Penn State (349.800), No. 4 Illinois (341.900), No. 6 Michigan (338.700), No. 7 Minnesota (338.100) and No. 10 Nebraska (331.300).

The Buckeyes will open their home schedule at 4 p.m. Jan. 21 in a Top 3 matchup vs. No. 3 Oklahoma at St. John Arena.
