Currently, the 2011 U.S. Women’s Open is being played at the Broadmoor Country Club in Colorado Springs, Colo. Rising junior Rachel Rohanna earned a spot among the world’s best in early June. At the start of competition Friday, Rohanna held a top 10 spot in the field. A total of 156 golfers are set to finish the first round today after play halted Thursday due to lightning. As a team, the Ohio State women’s golf squad concluded the 2010-11 season at the NCAA Championships, finishing 21st among the nation’s top teams.
