Scoliere Big Ten All-Tournament – Ohio State Buckeyes

Evanston, Illinois – Ohio State senior defender Danielle Scoliere, a first team all-Big Ten selection, Sunday was named to the 2011 Big Ten Tournament all-tournament team for her outstanding defensive play in the Buckeyes’ 1-1 opening-round tie with eventual champion Illinois. The Buckeyes lost to the Illini on penalty kicks, 4-2, after two scoreless overtimes on Wednesday. Illinois defeated Penn State 2-1 in overtime Sunday to capture the Big Ten’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
