Konrad Warzycha Receives National Recognition for Weekend Play
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Konrad Warzycha, the leading scorer of the Ohio State men’s soccer team, received national praise Monday after helping lead the Buckeyes to a pair of wins over the weekend and an unblemished record through four games. The senior midfielder was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com national team of the week and was featured in Soccer America’s College Soccer Reporter update under the headline “Warzycha on fire for Buckeyes.” – MORE –

Ohio State Wins Marshall Invitational with Record-Setting Team Score COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team had 12 of 15 rounds under par during the Marshall Invitational to set the team 54-hole scoring record at 820 (-32) and win the 41st edition of the tournament Tuesday. The Buckeyes more than doubled the previous low of 15-under (set by Louisville in 2005) while defeating runner-up Xavier by seven shots. – MORE –
Beals Era Begins for Baseball Buckeyes COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Greg Beals coaching era will officially begin Wednesday with the start of Ohio State fall baseball and the first on-field coaching opportunity for Beals and his staff. Beals, named Ohio State head coach June 17, and his staff will be on the field at 10 a.m. for the first of 27 practice days. – MORE –
