Jesse Owens Vote Rounds Final Turn

Jesse Owens, a four-time Olympic gold medalist at the 1936 Olympic Games and former Ohio State track and field standout, is a candidate for a national monument to be placed in Washington, DC. Owens, who served as a cultural icon and humanitarian after his athletics career, is one of 10 finalists for a bust to be placed at Statuary Hall on Capitol Hill. – MORE –
