- With three made 3-pointers vs. Oakland, senior Jon Diebler now has 297 for his career and is two shots away from tying Dee Brown (Illinois – 299) for sixth-place in career 3-pointers made in Big Ten history.
- With three made 3-pointers, Diebler extends his streak to 28 straight games with at least one 3-pointer made.
- With 13 points against Oakland, Diebler now has 1,207 career points, passing Luke Witte (1,211) for 29th-place in career scoring in Ohio State history.
DAVID LIGHTY
- The game vs. Oakland marked senior David Lighty’s 100th career start for Ohio State. He is one start away from tying Troy Taylor for ninth-place in career games started at OSU.
- With 13 points, Lighty remains in 32nd-place on the all-time scoring list at Ohio State with 1,170 career points, nine behind Lawrence Funderburke for 31st all-time.
- Lighty recorded his 107th win as a Buckeye vs. the Grizzlies on Thursday. He had 35 as a freshman, 25 as a sophomore, 29 as a junior and seven during the 2008-09 season when he received a medical redshirt because of a broken foot. He is four wins away from owning the Ohio State record.
- Lighty has played in 132 games as a Buckeye, which ties Terence Dials for third-place all-time. He is one game away from tying Jerry Francis for second-place.
- In the last two games, Lighty is 10 for 14 from behind the arc.
WILLIAM BUFORD
- Junior William Buford had 12 points to push his career total to 1,041. He is 14 points away from tying Jamie Skelton and Ken Johnson (1,055) for 42nd-place all-time in career scoring at Ohio State.
DESHAUN THOMAS
- Freshman Deshaun Thomas was Ohio State’s leading scorer with 17 points. He scored in double-figures for the sixth-time this season.
AARON CRAFT
- Freshman Aaron Craft had a career-high 12 points vs. Oakland. His previous high was eight.
- Craft also led the Buckeyes in assists against the Grizzlies with seven, against just one turnover.
DALLAS LAUDERDALE
- Senior Dallas Lauderdale recorded six blocks to move his career total to 190, passing Brad Sellers for third all-time in Ohio State history.
