No. 6 Buckeyes host Virginia in ACC/Big Ten Challenge Thursday at St. John Arena

Ohio State is 0-3 in the brief history of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge with all three games coming against Top 10 competition. In 2007 the Buckeyes lost at No. 3 Maryland before losing a close one at home in 2008 to No. 2 North Carolina. Last year, the Buckeyes led on the road No. 10 Duke early in the second half before the Blue Devils pulled away for the victory. – MORE –

COLUMBUS, Ohio – When the Buckeyes couldn’t shake pesky UNC-Wilmington, they knew exactly who to call on. Jantel Lavender scored 17 of her 25 points after halftime and Samantha Prahalis had 21 points and 11 assists, leading No. 7 Ohio State to an 88-69 win over UNC Wilmington on Sunday. – MORE –
