Buckeyes Open 2010 vs. BG Falcons

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State (7-12-1, 5-8-1-1 CCHA) returns to action with a series against Bowling Green (3-15-2, 2-10-2-2 CCHA). The teams will meet in Value City Arena at 7:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The series ends a 26-day break for the Buckeyes, dating back to Dec. 12. – MORE –

Kesler Named to US Olympic Team
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ryan Kesler, who played for the Buckeyes in 2002-03, was named to the US Olympic Team, USA Hockey announced Friday. A two-time participant in the World Junior Championship and a U.S. National Team Development Team product, he is believed to be the first former Buckeye to play for the US team. Kesler represented the United States in the 2006 Men’s World Championship, the 2003 and ’04 World Junior Championship and the 2002 Men’s World Under-18 Championship. – MORE –
