No. 21 Ohio State Opens Up Big Ten Play at Home Against Rival Michigan

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A winner of its last six matches including five shutouts, Ohio State looks to close out the four-game homestand with a sweep when it hosts rival Michigan at 1 p.m. Sunday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Admission is free to all. The Buckeyes are coming off a pair of big wins at home this past weekend, defeating North Texas on Friday and Toledo on Sunday, both by 2-0 margins. – MORE –

Verhoff’s Penalty Kick Leads Ohio State Over IUPUI Wednesday
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Doug Verhoff scored on a penalty kick in the 81st minute to give the No. 24-ranked (Soccer America) Ohio State men’s soccer team a 1-0 win over IUPUI Wednesday night at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The Buckeyes remain undefeated at 4-0-3, tying the most games without a loss to start the season during head coach John Bluem’s 13 seasons. The loss drops Jaguars’ record to 1-5-2. – MORE –
