Q. What do you miss most about your hometown?
A. I miss the small town feel and hanging out with my friends.
Q. Besides you, who is the most famous person from your hometown?
A. Coach – John Madden
Q. How often do you get home?
A. Twice a year; two weeks for winter break and two weeks for summer break.
Q. What do people ask you most about your hometown?
A. Do you have any palm trees in Pleasanton?
Q. What’s the biggest difference between your hometown and Columbus?
A. Walking out side into sub-zero temperatures and snow.
Q. How would you describe your hometown?
A. Small suburb
Q. How many stoplights are in your hometown?
A. Not sure … a bunch, it’s not that small of town!
Q. What is the population of your hometown?
A. More than 66,866.
Q. How long has your family lived in your hometown?
A. Four years
Q. What sport/activity is the most popular in your hometown?
A. Soccer
Q. What is the tallest building in your hometown?
A. The Oracle campus buildings all have five stories.

A. ‘Knowledge work’
Q. What do visitors to your hometown need to see/do?
A. Downtown Pleasanton, Alameda Fairgrounds and the vineyards of the local wineries.
Q. What is the biggest attraction in your hometown?
A. The Alameda Fairgrounds is home to the annual Alameda County Fair. On the fairgrounds is a racetrack that was built in 1858, making it the oldest one-mile horse racing track in America. Within the track’s infield is a 3,000 seat amphitheater and 9-hole golf course (according to Wikipedia.org).
– An editor’s aside, Steven’s dad was once a professional thoroughbred jockey.
Q. Is there is local food your hometown is known for?
A. No, not really…
Q. Your favorite place in your hometown?
A. Hacienda Crossings which is a shopping center with a Regal 20+Imax movie theater.
Q. Any historic event that happened there?
A. Pleasanton, which is located on the east side of the San Francisco Bay Area, was a stopover for miners during the Gold Rush (again, citing Wikipedia.org for some help).
