ADMISSION AND PARKING
Admission to the 2009 Big Ten Rowing Championships is free.
A limited amount of parking is available at Griggs Reservoir by entering the Nottingham/Riverside(SR-33) entrance south of the Fishinger Rd. bridge, people will be there to assist spectators. Signs will be posted on all roads and entrances to assist. All fans should allow additional time when arriving for walking. Fans bringing tailgate items will not be permitted to drive “up the hill” to drop off any items, they will need to be carried from the parking spots south of Fishinger Rd. Bridge. When the lot is full spectators will be directed to Nottingham Rd where ample street parking is available. Anyone parking on the grass within Griggs Reservoir will be ticketed. Anyone who parks on SR-33/Riverside Dr. will be ticketed and towed.
FORMAT AND SCORING
The competition format for all six events shall be one heat of four boats and one heat of three boats. The top two finishing boats from each heat advance to the Grand Final and the remaining boats compete in the Petite Final. When there are only five entries in an event, there shall be a five-boat heat in the morning for lane positions and a five-boat heat in the afternoon for the finals.
The Big Ten Conference champion shall be determined from the accumulation of points based on the competed races and the points associated with the place of finish in each race. If there is a tie in points for the conference team championship, the conference champion shall be the team whose boat finished higher in the First Varsity Eight race. The scoring system will be as follows:

From the South – Take I-71 North to SR 315 North to Worthington. Take the US-33 exit toward Dublin Road./Long Street. Turn left onto Dublin Road/US-33. Griggs Reservoir on the Scioto River will be on your left.
From the East (Airport) – Take I-70 West to SR 315 North to Worthington. Take the US-33 exit toward Dublin Road./Long Street. Turn left onto Dublin Road/US-33. Griggs Reservoir on the Scioto River will be on your left.
From the West – Take I-70 East to SR 315 North to Worthington. Take the US-33 exit toward Dublin Road./Long Street. Turn left onto Dublin Road/US-33. Griggs Reservoir on the Scioto River will be on your left.
