Sophomore center Jantel Lavender was named to the 11-member 2009 USBWA All-America Team Wednesday, marking the fourth USBWA All-America honoree in the past five years under head coach Jim Foster. – MORE –

WBK: Prahalis Named to Berkeley Regional All-Tournament Team
Big Ten freshman of the year Samantha Prahalis was named to the 2009 Berkeley Regional All-Tournament Team late Monday night. The freshman from Commack, N.Y., scored a team-high 19 points, dished out six assists and had two steals in the loss to No. 2 seed Stanford, who is headed to the Final Four for the second consecutive season. – MORE –
