Thad Matta Big Ten Teleconference – Ohio State Buckeyes

Thad Matta, head coach of the Buckeyes, entertained questions via teleconference today from media covering the Big Ten Conference basketball teams.

The Buckeyes enter the week 7-2 overall with Presbyterian (Wednesday), Delaware State (Saturday) and Cleveland State (Dec. 22) up next at home. Ohio State closes out the 2009 portion of the schedule with the Big Ten Conference opener Dec. 31 at Wisconsin.

Matta is 134-48 as the head coach of the Buckeyes over his six seasons in Columbus. In 10 years as a head coach, Matta has compiled a record of 236-79 and has won at least 20 games in each of his nine previous seasons.
