Samantha Prahalis Named Big Ten co-Player of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State sophomore guard Samantha Prahalis earned her first Big Ten player of the week honor Monday in recognition of her performance last week in wins over UAB, West Virginia and Oklahoma State. She shares the honor with Northwestern’s Amy Jaeschke. – MORE –

Buckeyes capture WNIT championship with 93-72 win over Oklahoma State
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Jim Foster is enjoying coaching quick, deep and volatile Ohio State. “In this game, you can coach from strength and you can coach from weakness,” Foster said after his third-ranked Buckeyes rolled over Oklahoma State 93-72 Sunday to win the Preseason WNIT. “Not many of us get the opportunity to coach from strength; we’re always hiding weaknesses. We have more strengths than we’ve had. It’s a lot more fun to coach that, believe me.” – MORE –
