Buckeyes To Be Featured on CNN Program Saturday – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State synchronized swimming team will be featured in a segment of CNN’s “Another Day Cheating Death” program debuting at 8 p.m. Saturday. Hosted by CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the special focuses on physicians who attempt to extend survival time and potentially reverse the process of dying.
Part of the show’s explanation for such miracles will include the synchronized swimming team’s above average ability to hold its breath under water for extended periods of time during routines. The Buckeyes’ segment hopes to explain how individuals, such as a 22-year old college student, was revived after being clinically dead for 15 minutes.
