Women’s Soccer: Here’s Cassie! Big Ten PSAs Begin – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio The Big Ten Conference’s new “Big Life. Big Stage. Big Ten.” public service announcements began airing this week on the Big Ten Network and Ohio State sophomore defender Cassie Dickerson is featured in the first set of promos.
Dickerson’s promotional piece is part of the series’ “Faces of the Big Ten” segments. Her promo will run for the next several weeks alongside student-athlete “Faces” from the 10 other Big Ten schools.
“This is great exposure for the Big Ten Conference and for Ohio State athletics,” women’s soccer head coach Lori Walker said, “and this is a terrific opportunity for our student-athletes to tell their individual stories.”
The purpose of the promotion is to share the personalities and unique stories of alumni and former Big Ten student-athletes as well as current Big Ten student-athletes so that the Big Ten community can learn about these individuals, and by association, learn about the Big Ten brand overall.
“The [Big Life. Big Stage. Big Ten.] theme speaks to the breadth, visibility and impact of the Big Ten across all aspects of life and sport,” said Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany.
Dickerson is a sophomore from Kalmazoo, Mich. and a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School. She is one of three captains on the 2008 Ohio State women’s soccer team.
