11 Buckeyes Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio Eleven Ohio State women’s soccer team student-athletes, who are at least sophomores academically and carry at least a 3.0 grade point average, have been named to the Big Ten Conference’s Academic All-Big Ten team. The total number represents the second-most honorees in one year for coach Lori Walker’s team, trailing only 2003 when 12 Buckeyes were academic all-conference selections.
Among Ohio State’s honorees are four individuals Caitlin Colfer, Amy Graeff, Amanda Bowyer and Lauren Steuer who have been named Academic All-Big Ten for a second time. The Academic All-Big Ten Buckeyes include:

The 11 soccer players honored helped carry Ohio State to the highest total of Academic All-Big Ten picks this fall with 80. Indiana was second with 77 honorees and Northwestern was third with 75. A total of 682 fall sports student-athletes were named to their respective sports’ Academic All-Conference Team this fall.
Since the 1994-95 season when the Big Ten started recognizing its all-academic teams, Ohio State has had 62 different women’s soccer players honored a total of 123 times.
