Sept. 6, 2007 – The Big Ten Network aired six football games and three Olympic events from around the conference during the Labor Day weekend, but the first game aired on the Big Ten Network was the Ohio State men’s soccer team’s match vs. No. 13 West Virginia Aug. 31, 2007. The Buckeyes came away with a 1-0 victory over the Mountaineers in the Bert and Iris Wolstein Classic and eventually won the tournament trophy two days later after shutting out Syracuse.
