My Summer Favorites: Corey Elkins – Ohio State Buckeyes

Corey Elkins returns for his junior year with the Ohio State men’s hockey team after posting career highs in both goals (7), assists (7) and points (14) last season while limited to just 26 games because of injury. His hard work in recovering from both knee and elbow injuries earned him the 2006-07 Coaches Award. He is a two-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
Do you stay on campus in the summer? If so, what for? If not, where do you go?
I go home to my house in Michigan and spend time with my family.
Are you working any internships or jobs this summer?
I work hockey camps in Michigan.
What is your favorite thing about summer?
Spending time on the lake and playing golf.

Being with all of my good friends down at the beach in our neighborhood.
What is your favorite thing to do outdoors?
Wakeboarding
What was your worst summer job?
Working construction for my Dad is always tough.
