Ohio State Wins Nine Awards in CoSIDA Publications Contest – Ohio State Buckeyes

College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) rewarded the joint effort of the Ohio State Athletics Communications and Creative Services Departments with nine honors in the 2006-07 CoSIDA Publications contest. Ohio State is tied with Louisiana State University for eighth place with the nine awards while Nebraska grabbed the most with 18.
At the top of the list of OSU achievements, the football media guide was named the best in the district and second in the nation. Steve Snapp, Todd Lamb and Kent Kroger collaborated on the football media guide as well as the football program, which finished third in the nation.
The trio of Pat Kindig, Diana Sabau and Kroger received kudos for the women’s basketball media guide which finished third in the national competition after winning best in the nation in the 2005-06 contest.
Together, Tim Stried, Sabau and Andy Devito produced the fifth-ranked men’s soccer media guide which also won nods for best cover. Danielle Warner paired with Devito for the wrestling media guide which garnered honors for best cover and was fourth overall in the country.
Ohio State’s final CoSIDA publications award was given to Lamb and Breanne Brasseur for the men’s swimming and diving guide ranked sixth in the nation.
Kindig, Lamb, Snapp, Stried and Warner are all members of the athletics communications department while Brasseur, Devito, Kroger and Sabau represent the creative services department.
