Catching Up with Former Buckeye Men’s Hockey Captain Sean Collins – Ohio State Buckeyes

Defenseman Sean Collins, who played for the Buckeyes from 2004-07, is currently participating in the Washington Capitals’ Summer Development Camp in Arlington, Va. Collins, a 2007 All-CCHA Second Team honoree, signed with the Caps following the season and joined the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League for the remainder of their season.
The Capitals caught up with Collins after the camp Friday to talk about a variety of topics, including his time at Ohio State and his thoughts on professional hockey and the Capitals.
In all, 33 Capitals prospects will participate in the team’s annual summer development camp that runs Thursday-Saturday. The camp includes on- and off-ice workouts and scrimmages each evening from 4:30 to 6 p.m., with all on-ice activity open to the public and free of charge.
