My Summer Favorites: Pejman Ebrahimi – Ohio State Buckeyes

Senior Pejman Ebrahimi of the men’s gymnastics team took a much need break from his studies and training at Ohio State this summer to spend time with his family in California. Majoring in finance and real estate, Ebrahimi has excelled in the classroom, as well as, on the competition floor as a Buckeye. A three-time OSU Scholar-Athlete, Ebrahimi secured the national vault title at the 2007 NCAA Individual Event Championships as he tied David Sender of Stanford with a season-high score of 9.3.
Do you stay on campus in the summer? If so, what for? If not, where do you go?
I go home to Los Angeles and enjoy a summer at home with family and friends. I like to go to the beach as much as possible while doing my best to workout everyday.
Are you working any internships or jobs this summer?
I am coaching a few gymnastics summer camps this summer.
What is your favorite thing about summer?
Relief from school and competition everybody needs to give their minds a break.
My favorite childhood summer memory is …
I don’t think I could think of just one … anything and everything with friends and family.
What is your favorite thing to do outdoors?
I like to go to the beach and play beach volleyball and football.
What was your worst summer job?
I have only coached gymnastics in the summer and I love doing it, so none.
Favorite ice cream flavor: Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie
Favorite summer vacation spot: Cancun and Hawaii
Favorite thing on the grill: Carne Asada or a nice old-fashioned fat cheeseburger
Favorite piece of summer apparel (sandals, shorts, etc.): Board shorts and sun glasses
Lemonade or iced tea: Lemonade … iced tea is terrible.
Pool or ocean: Begin the day in the ocean and end in the pool or hot tub.
Ice cream cone or popsicle: Ice cream cone
Tag or hide-and-seek: Hide-and-seek
