| Greg Miller – Assistant Director
Assistant coach Greg Miller is embarking upon his seventh season with the Ohio State women’s soccer team. Miller, who works primarily with the defensive unit, witnessed the Buckeye backline record six shutouts in 2006, in addition to limiting its opponents to 21 goals on the season on 208 shots. Miller’s time at Ohio State has featured several firsts in Buckeye history. In 2004, Miller helped the Buckeyes post an all-time best record (19-4-3) and qualify for their third trip to the NCAA tournament after winning the 2004 Big Ten Tournament for the second time in program history. He coached the defense to an OSU-best goals-against average of 0.67 during that conference championship run. Additionally, the Buckeye defense limited its opponents to just 246 shots and 18 goals. Miller’s accompanying duties include recruiting and assisting in coordinating team training sessions. He facilitates community outreach projects and team clinics and serves as the assistant director of the Ohio State Women’s Soccer Camp. Prior to the 1999 season, Miller joined head coach Woody Sherwood in ushering in a new era of women’s soccer at Butler. During Miller’s two years with the program, the Bulldogs were 12-22-4 overall and finished tied for first in the Midwestern Collegiate Conference regular season standings in 1999. Miller coached with the Indiana State Olympic Development Program and the Indiana Youth Soccer Association for four years. He holds an “A” License from the United States Soccer Federation and is a Region II ODP staff coach. Miller also is a staff coach with the Ohio Premier Soccer Club in Dublin, Ohio. A 1993 graduate of Xavier University with a degree in psychology, Miller played soccer for the Musketeers from 1989-92. He resides in Grandview, Ohio.
