Ohio State’s Greg Oden acquired several pieces of hardware during his freshman season at Ohio State while helping the Buckeyes win both the outright regular season and Big Ten tournament titles. The Buckeyes also were NCAA South Region Champions and runners up in the 2007 NCAA Tournament. Oden earned Associated Press First Team All-America accolades along with several other conference, regional and national honors. The National Basketball Coaches Association selected him as the nation’s defensive player of the year and big man of the year. Oden was in town Wednesday prior to traveling to Orlando, Fla., for a physical at the NBA pre-draft camp.
