Women’s Soccer Goes 2-0 at Sereno 2007 College Showcase – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s soccer team continued its spring season with a 2-0 effort over the weekend at the Sereno 2007 College Showcase in the CAP Basin Sports Complex in Tempe, Ariz.
The Buckeyes faced Arizona State Saturday and registered a 1-0 win. Lisa Collison scored for the Scarlet and Gray and Lara Dickenmann and Lauren Steuer were credited with the assists.
In its second game against Washington State Sunday, OSU posted a 2-1 victory. Kate Linehan put the Buckeyes on the board first with Dickenmann on the assist. Ashley Bowyer then increased Ohio State’s lead when she scored off a pass from Caitlin Colfer.
The Buckeyes conclude the spring season with its final two games in Columbus, Ohio. The first match is at 1 p.m. against Ohio April 14 at the team’s upper practice field, while the second game will be at 4 p.m. April 28 vs. West Virginia at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
