COLUMBUS, Ohio – Bill Jones, Ohio State assistant athletics director for ticketing, announced Sunday the policy for obtaining tickets to the Buckeyes’ 2007 NCAA First Round men’s basketball game against Central Connecticut State, Thursday, in Lexington, Ky.
The 2007 Tournament game times have not been announced. Please check ohiostatebuckeyes.com for up-to-date information throughout the week.
Ohio State students, faculty and staff, who ordered 2006-07 men’s basketball season tickets, may place an application for a lottery ticket at the Jerome Schottenstein Center Ticket Office, Monday, March 12, 2007. Applicants should specify if they are students or faculty/staff. The winning lottery numbers will be posted Monday evening in the Jerome Schottenstein Center and on ohiostatebuckeyes.com. Payment for the tickets must be received by 4 p.m. Tuesday. All tickets will be held for pick-up at the tournament site and must be picked up by the original applicant.
Tickets will not be available for season ticket holders and the general public through the athletic ticket office. Ohio State’s initial allotment of 550 tickets will be used for the players’ families, the official University travel party, the coaching staff and Ohio State students and faculty/staff as noted earlier.
Individuals who are not eligible to purchase tickets via the lottery should contact the tournament site to check availability.
