COLUMBUS, Ohio – Day one of fencing competition has concluded at the Notre Dame Duals in South Bend, Ind., Saturday with Ohio State in second place overall. Only the women’s team saw action, with the men set to compete Sunday.
The Ohio State women went 7-1 on the day, with the sole loss coming against Notre Dame, falling narrowly 14-13 despite defeating the Fighting Irish in the sabre and foil competition. The men will take the strip tomorrow, aiming to win the overall title.
