Ohio State Athletics Communications Receives 11 CoSIDA Publication Awards – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) honored the Ohio State Athletics Communications department with 11 publication awards for 2005-06. The men’s and women’s basketball programs topped the list as the best in the nation, as well as the men’s basketball program cover and the softball media guide cover.
Todd Lamb, Diana Sabau, Kent Kroger and Dan Wallenberg collaborated on the men’s basketball program earning best program and best cover in the nation. Lamb, Kroger, Taurean Jones and Pat Kindig received best women’s basketball program.
The softball media guide garnered second in the nation, best in the district and best cover. Tim Stried, Sabau and Kroger received credit for these awards while DC Koehl, Sabau and Kroger collaborated to make the women’s volleyball media guide the best in the district and fourth in the nation.
Leann Parker, Joe Shanahan and Kroger produced the lacrosse media guide which ranked fifth in the nation. Wallenberg, Kroger, Curt Davis and Kellie Tilton worked on the golf media guides which were ranked sixth in the nation and third in the district.
Lamb, Kindig, Koehl, Parker, Stried, Tilton and Wallenberg are members of the athletics communications department while Sabau, Shanaham, Davis, Jones and Kroger are with the publications department.
